Charitable Solicitation Requirements

39 states and the District of Columbia require most "charitable" organization to register before "soliciting "contributions" in the jurisdiction. "Fundraising consultants," "professional solicitors." and "commercial co-ventures are also required to register in many states. You'll learn expansive definitions of the terms in quotes, the kinds of entities to which the registration business, and how to keep your charity or clients out of trouble.

Benefit Plan Audit Changes for 2012 and Top Findings Review Discussion
